It’s easiest and cheapest to get a scooter to Tegenungan Waterfall! The roads are beautifully paved the whole way there and there’ll be no nasty surprises for you along the way.

Scooter hire should cost around 50k-70k IDR per day.

If scooters aren’t your thing, you have the option to hire a driver with your own private air-conditioned minivan for the day to take you anywhere you want to go.

You can usually book this through your hotel or by asking locals on the street.

Prices vary everywhere you go and depends on how well you can barter with the locals for the best price. A private car with driver should cost no more than 600k IDR per day.

You also have the choice to buy a tour that will take you to Tegenungan Waterfall amongst other lovely sights of Bali all in the same day.

You’ll be able to find these tours being sold on the street for negotiable prices. Your hotel should be able to book this for you as well, or at least point you in the right direction to book it yourself.
