Twin Lagoon

Also located on Coron Island, Twin Lagoon is also one of the best things to do in Coron.

Similar to Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon is admired for the raw untouched splendor of its emerald blue lagoon tucked quietly away within the encompassing looming limestone cliffs.

However, in order to reach the actual lagoon, you’ll have to swim from your boat, and under a small cave-like opening to the other side where you’ll end up at the hidden paradise that is Twin Lagoon.

Coron Palawan FAQs

kayangan lake coron palawan

How long should I stay in Coron Palawan?

Aside from Coron island which can be done in a day or two, there is not much else to do in Coron town.

With virtually zero nightlife and not much else to do during the day other than take a boat tour to Coron island this is definitely not a place you will want to be for too long.

I would recommend no more than 3 days max to explore all of the best things to do in Coron.

Although Kayangan Lake and Twin Lagoon are quite the showstoppers, aside from that there is literally nothing else to do here.

Is Coron Palawan expensive?

Although I found Coron to be a bit more expensive when compared to other places in the Philippines, it is not something to be concerned about.

Plus, you will most likely only be there for 2-3 days anyways so it’s no big deal.

However, I highly recommend doing a private Coron Palawan Tour instead of the group option.

This is by far the cheapest private tour I have found anywhere in Southeast Asia.

What is the best way to get around Coron Palawan?

Tricycles are the main method of transportation in Coron town.

A single one-way ride will cost about 10 PHP per person to anywhere in town and 20 PHP to the port.

If you want to explore the countryside, motorbikes are for rent for around 400 PHP along the main road in Coron town.

Is there an ATM in Coron Palawan?

Even though Coron is considerably underdeveloped there are still ATMs available.  I remember seeing at least 4 during our stay.

Should I visit Coron or El Nido?

This is a common question that we get asked all the time and the simple answer is to visit both.

However, we do understand that some people might only have enough time to visit one or the other.

Therefore, we highly recommend you check out or full blog post below fully explaining the key differences between Coron and El Nido to better help you decide which is better for you.
