Canggu has got to be one of the most chilled out spots in Bali and deserves to be on everyone’s Bali bucket list!

It’s become increasingly popular within the last few years, and has now created a reputation with backpackers from all over the globe for its laidback vibes, plethora of delicious food varieties, wild nightlife, and beautiful beach clubs!

Abandoned Plane

Location: Kutuh, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia


So apparently this plane was meant to be a restaurant however the building permit has not been authorized yet.

This old Indonesian aircraft was bought by an Australian in pieces and set it up in this location. There are reportedly boxes of cutlery, tables, and other restaurant necessities just waiting to be set up.

It’s been sitting there for two years, so we just wonder if it will ever turn into the restaurant it was meant to be!

Whether this is a true story or not, it is a pretty cool thing to see and it was definitely on our Bali bucket list!

PS: There are plenty other abandoned aircraft scattered around Bali that you can check out too!

Suluban Beach

This is not your standard beach.

The best part about Suluban Beach is that there is nowhere else like it in Bali.

What makes Suluban Beach so unique is the colossal cave that covers most of the beach that you have to walk through in order to actually enter this glorious paradise!

I won’t give away too much of this fairy-tale beach… Go and see it for yourself!

Whatever you do, DO NOT miss out on one of the top things to do in Uluwatu!

Tiu Kelep Waterfall

You can catch a plane to Lombok or if you happen to be in the Gili Islands, you can book a day tour to see Tiu Kelep Waterfall in Lombok for a very decent price and without inconvenience!

Tiu Kelep is truly one of the most unique and exquisite waterfalls we have ever seen, so please do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.

Omnia Beach Club

Omnia Beach Club is easily one of the top things to do in Uluwatu!

Drinks are a little on the expensive side, however the experience and view kind of makes up for it.

Like any good beach club, Omnia of course is equipped with a huge pool with a swim up bar and a spectacular ocean view!

So if you’re stuck on things to do in Bali at night, I’d say get your butt down to Omnia Beach Club!

There’s no doubt that Potato Head Beach Club is one of the best things to do in Bali.

Whether you want to eat dinner, sip a fancy cocktail, cool off in the pool or just take some photos for the gram, you’ll be doing it with a killer view of the beach landscape.

Bonus Tip: Go there for sunset for an even more beautiful view of the beach at Potato Head Beach Club!

Try Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana)

Our Bali bucket list wouldn’t be complete without some new food to try!

Pisang Goreng is the Indonesian way of saying fried banana and it’s our number one snack during our Bali trip.

You can find Pisang Goreng on the side of the street pretty much anywhere in Indonesia, and also on the dessert menu at most restaurants so you literally have no excuse.

Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is where to go in Bali if you want to see the most beautiful hue of aqua ever.
