The word cliché comes to mind when we think about the traditional travel quote, such as “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
This is one of the most worn out travel quotes around and sends a shiver up our spine every time we hear it!
Or yet another we have figuratively heard at least a thousand times… “Traveling — it leaves you speechless, then turns you into”… you get my point.
Although these travel quotes were once unique and inspirational, they have now lost their spark thanks to social media and have become plain old annoying.
